Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Demco Hijacker UMS Double Pivot 5th Wheel Hitch. This 5th wheel hitch will mount into the bed of your 2016 through 2019 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with the factory installed towing prep package, and this will obviously then allow you to then tow your 5th wheel trailer with your tow vehicle. It is gonna be very easy to get installed since we're using that factory prep package, we'll just pull out the pins on all four of these feet, we'll open them up and then set them down into the four receiver pucks that are built in to the factory underbed rails. Once they're all installed, we'll just turn those to lock them in place, and we'll pass our pin through there, so it is going to allow us to take full advantage of that factory prep system, and so that we don't have to worry about above bed rails, so we're gonna have full bed access just like our truck is intended for. This does have a sturdy steel construction, so it is going to give us a gross towing weight of 31,000 pounds. more

Hi there, GMC owners. Today on your 2020 GMC Sierra 2500, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, Curt's A16 Sliding 5th Wheel Head. This is a sliding fifth-wheel assembly which is great for vehicles that have a short truck bed. If you've got a full truck bed then you really don't need to worry about these and you probably won't need one ever. But if you have a short truck bed, the clearance between your trailer and the cab of your truck may be too small when making extreme turns. It's not uncommon for a fifth wheel that's sitting in this position here on our 90-degree turn, for that cab and trailer to connect here on the corners. more

And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. This B&W hitch is extremely well-machined device, just like all of B&W's products. Well, say, compared to the other manufacturers, the machining and fit of theirs just seems to slide together way better than the others. The only thing that I found here with B&W on occasion is they go a little thick on the powder coating, which can sometimes make it a little difficult to install. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the B and W Companion fifth wheel to gooseneck receiver here. Now this is gonna go onto your Band W under bed mount kit for your gooseneck. Now this is gonna be on a 2019 Ford F250. So let's go through, take a look at it and see the install portion, and this is a great option because it's pretty easy to put in place. So if you're going from your goose neck to a fifth wheel with an extra set of hands or two, you can get this loaded in place and ready to rock in less than 10 minutes. Now as far as the weight capacities go, the gross trailer weight rating is gonna be 20,000 pounds which is gonna be the weight of the trailer that you're pulling plus whatever's loaded onto there. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2017 GMC Sierra 2500, we're going to be checking out the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel. So, right off the bat, you may be wondering what's different about this 5th wheel hitch than a lot of the other ones And what it does differently is right in the name: Autoslide. So, what happens is, when you're hooked up to your trailer and you make a tight turn, or anything like that, what's going to happen as the head is going to automatically slide back and give you quite a bit of extra clearance. That way, you know, when you make those turns, the trailer, you're not going to have to worry about it coming in and taking out a cab corner or busting your glass out or anything. Now you can see here, this one you can tell has been pretty heavily used, and that's because this customer has had this in service for a couple of years now. And he recently upgraded to a new truck, and since this is designed to drop right into Ford trucks with a factory fifth wheel prep package, when he got his new one here, he was able to take it out and just slide it right into his new truck. This system's gonna be for you if you have the OEM puck system and you have a short-bed. Basically, what happens is with the short-beds, as you start turning, a lot of the ones you're gonna have to like manually release so you can slide it back. So, you're not gonna have any damage happening to the cab of your truck. With this one, as it starts to rotate, it's gonna slide back automatically to prevent any contact from happening. more
